The workshop will be led by Philipp Spitzer and Bernhard Weingartner, both esteemed experts in science communication.

Philipp Spitzer is a Chemistry Didactics expert and science communicator with extensive experience in making complex scientific concepts accessible to a broad audience. He has contributed significantly to the field through various publications, research projects, and citizen science projects, focusing on innovative teaching methods and public engagement in science.

Bernhard Weingartner is a physicist on a mission to simplify complex topics. He teaches science communication at TU Wien, writes popular science books, coaches educators at all levels, and organizes “Science Slams” across Austria. As a core member of the expert team on the ORF show “Fakt oder Fake,” he demystifies fake news on the big TV stage and in public spaces, often accompanied by his students with the “Physikmobil”.

The workshop aims to provide you with the essential tools and insights needed to create engaging and audience-tailored hands-on experiences. For those particularly interested, there will be an opportunity to receive a more detailed personal briefing with one or both of the workshop leaders.

No registration is required for the workshop.
