In this webinar the use of hybrid polymers for optical on-chip waveguides will be highlighted. It focuses on the requirements for polymeric optical waveguide materials, e.g. low optical loss and adapted refractive index to allow optical device integration. Expert Dr. Maria Russew will present latest results from material developments within the joined project “PolyChrome Berlin” utilizing polymeric waveguide materials for the fabrication of hybrid photonics integrated circuits (PICs).
